HOW TO CONTRIBUTE A SCAM LETTER TO THE

FRAUD-AID SCAM LETTER DATABASES

 

  1. Please FORWARD the letters you receive to  .  Sending the scam letter as an attachment, then clicking or "Forward" often provides access the Full Header (Details) so that letters can be tracked back to the author.

  2. If the letter is posted online, any and all reference to you - the recipient of the email - is removed prior to posting.  This includes email address and name.  The same holds true if you Forward letters sent to you for the database by friends or relatives.  If you do collect fraud letters from others, please ask that they follow the above rules.

  3. When the letter has been posted, you will receive a brief note containing the URL of the posting so you can view it.
