Tearfund is a Non

Organization based
in UK with aims and
objectives of
helping those that
are in needs as we
are refering to the
case
of DECEMBER TSUNAMI
SOUTH ASIAN VICTIMS.

you to contribute
for the survival of
Tsunami victims AS
God loves a cheerful
giver for you will
never lack.
Please email us back
to inquire on how
you will send your
donations as we will
publish in our
publications,list of
those who responded
on our appeal funds
to help the Tsunami
Victims.
Here are some of our
works and
acheivements.
In 2003-4, Tearfund
worked with local
partners in more
than 70 countries
around the world.
Communities are
encouraged to come
up with initiatives
to shape their own
future. These could
be providing
healthcare, literacy
classes, clean water
and sanitation,
HIV/AIDS education,
drug rehabilitation
or food security programmes.
whether it’s a
flood, famine,
earthquake or war –
poor people suffer
most.
Tearfund is on
standby to respond
with crucial
emergency relief.
But we’re also
aiming to prevent
disasters before
they happen.
Year-round, we are
helping people who
live in vulnerable
places to find
better ways to cope
with the unexpected.
And this doesn’t
just save money, it
saves lives.
Sudan emergency
appeal
Tearfund supporters
have responded with
overwhelming
generosity to our
emergency appeal for
Darfur, western
Sudan, where more
than a million
people have fled
their homes – in the
latest of this
troubled nation’s
agonies.
People like Dalma
Wadi, 25, who is
featured in the
appeal section of
this
website: ‘Men on
horseback came to my
village,’ she told
us. ‘They killed a
lot of people, stole
our wealth and burnt
our homes. I took my
child and ran.’
Your support has
enabled us to bring
life-saving relief
in Darfur itself.
Our
relief team is
working in the camps
providing health
education, building
toilets and helping
malnourished
children.
We are also
supporting a network
of local churches in
neighbouring Chad.
These churches have
provided tents,
toilets and wells
for Sudanese who
fled across the
border at the
beginning of the
crisis.
So far supporters
have donated more
than £5 million.
This will save lives
today – and help
restore communities
in the long-term.God
