Check Processing Employment Scam Letter

Letter Source: This letter looks as if it originated somewhere in Canada from IP 69.199.222.178, part of the block owned by Rogers Communications. There was no attempt at misdirection that we can see EXCEPT for the fact that, as in the Emma Bailey email #1, the email is time stamped +0200. That means it really came from Eastern Europe, most likely either Latvia, Russia, Lithuania, or Romania. It is quite possible that the IP address was hijacked. The English in this letter is so bad as to make no sense at all. They more or less claim that they are involved in predicting investment trends, yet no person working in such an environment would speak or write such poor English. It is not written "with a French accent" meaning that whoever wrote this was not thinking in French and translating it to English, as might be possible with a Canadian. ____________________________________________________ Find out where emails are REALLY coming from. |
