Sweetheart Affinity Scam Letters to Leah Winslett

Unfortunately, Winslett did not keep any of the first emails in which "Powell Willson" presented himself as conservative and intelligent businessman. 

As we explained to Winslett, in all likelihood those first emails were written from form letters and may have been sent out by as many as 3 or 4 different scammers in that cell.  In other words, whoever had the duty when her letters came in.

The form letters are edited to fit each victim's replies.  As often happens, form letters are created for the most part in correct English by well-educated fraud ring kingpins.  As the scam evolves, the victim is "run" by a single fraud cell member, and grammar and spelling are thrown to the wind as the replies are written directly by the uneducated fraudster.

Reasons for the change range from being handed over to an attorney, banker, or government official not conversant in English, to being overcome by passion as in the case of a Sweetheart Scam.

What we're showing you here are emails and excerpts from emails sent before and around the time Winslett received the counterfeit checks, and emails that continue to arrive from the now obsessed scammer.
