Check Processing Employment Scam Letter

from: Emma Bailey[#1], Staff manager, HOWARD SEAMAN GROUP LTD

NOTE: "Emma Bailey" is not the real name of the scammer

Letter Source:  This letter looks as if it originated somewhere in Canada from IP 198.53.151.87, part of a block owned by Telus Communications.  There was no attempt at misdirection that we can see EXCEPT for the fact that the email is time stamped +0200.  That means it really came from Eastern Europe, most likely either Latvia, Russia, Lithuania, or Romania.  It is quite possible that the IP address was hijacked.

Objet: contract

Hello Xxxxxx,

Thank you for your time and attention. Glad to continue our relationship!

I must first ask you to forgive my intrusion as I am sure this message comes

to you as a surprise and may offend your personality for contacting you without

your prior consent and writing through this channel. I got the information on you from a

proffesional database found on the internet while searching for a reliable

and honest person that will be able to conduct our business.

I suppose that there is a problem with the telephone line, thats why I can not call you.

Your data have been studied and I think your experience suits us fine.

We would like to find a project coordinator in your city.

The work is not complicated. A client has a wish to pay by transfer, but a supplier would like to get cash. 8% of each deal is yours.

A client sends his money to you, and you just go to your bank and withdraw this money. Then you go to Money Gram and send this money to our supplier. It’s possible for you to earn 3000 – 4000 USD weekly sending 2 - 3 transfers daily.

Our company cares of all expenses connected with this activity [bank and Money Gram and other fees]. You’ll get money transfers including your salary weekly. The amount of your salary depends on the results of your work.

If you have arrived to any conclusion just fill in the contract of employment which is attached to this e-mail.

You must take into your consideration that your work will be connected with real money and real clients that’s why we need perfect information from you.

Please, don’t forget to indicate your bank data for international bank operations [SWIFT & IBAN].

If you don’t realize what it means you can just inquire your bank office and find out everything.

If you have corporate or business bank account you can transfer more.

If you need additional information you can get it without any delay.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

 Emma Bailey,

 Staff manager
