Check Processing Employment Scam Letter

from: John Chandler, Payments Manager, Allianz Finance, LLC

NOTE: "John Chandler" is not the real name of the scammer

As with many of these scams, the emails are not all written by the same author even though they are signed using the same name.

Allianz #1 - Allianz #2 - Allianz #3 - Allianz #4 - Allianz #5 - Allianz #6

Letter Source:  This letter originated from an IP belonging to a porn web site.  The IP block is located in Oregon.  The porn site apparently collects credit card information, which is then most likely stolen and used to order electronic checks to send to Payment Processing Scam victims.

DO NOT CONFUSE allianzfinance.biz with the real Allianz Finance II BV / Allianz Group, a legitimate Dutch company.  The bad guys love to use the names of legitimate companies to do their dirty work.  They have also plastered bank logos on their site to make themselves appear legitimate.

Dear Allianz Payment Processing Manager,

Welcome to Allianz!

My name is John Chandler. I am your manager and we will work together processing payments for Allianz.

Thank you for filling out our online agreement at
http:// www.allianzfinance.biz/signup.htm
We have checked your eligibility for this job and it seems to be OK.

Your personal information has been verified by our Security Dept. and redirected to me.
I will inform you with the next steps of our work. Be free to ask me any questions.

From this moment you have been added to our database.
But your current status is NOT ACTIVE. We need 1-2 weeks(sometimes more)to get you into our current payments scheme. However, you can be activated as soon as in 3-6 business days.

I need the following information to activate you:

1. If it's your additional work please send me your daily timetable (when do you start working, have a break and when finish). If not, just let me know when you are available.

2. We need at least 2 valid phone numbers from you(e.g your home phone & cell phone or home&work numbers) for our voice notifications. It's very important.
3. Have you decided what bank account you are going to use to process our payments? We recommend you to setup a new personal checking account(zero-balanced is OK) with Bank Of America, Citibank or Wells Fargo(these banks provide the best service that fits our needs).
You can find their local branches at
https:// www.wellsfargo.com/locator/ (highly recommended)
http:// www.citibank.com
http:// www.bankofamerica.com (recommended)

We recommend you to open a new bank account by visiting their local branch. It's faster.
I recommend you to choose Wells Fargo. They are just a perfect fit and they process our payments very fast.

If you don't have these banks(branches) in your area you can use any local bank or credit union. You can also use your already established bank account or credit union account(most credit unions work with us very well).

Most likely you will decide to use your already established bank or credit union account while openning a new one with Wells Fargo or Bank of America(this may take up to 2-5 business days)

You are going to open a new account to process our payments but there are no Wells Fargo or Bank of America branches in your area?
In this case we recommend you to e-mail a list of banks and credit unions available in your area. We will check and recommend the best bank(or credit union) to work with us.

Some banks require so-called "initial deposit" to open a bank account. This deposit could vary($25-$100). You WON'T need this money to start processing our payments! You can withdraw this money immediately after openning using your ATM card if you wish.

4. When complete, please fill out the following form. It is necessary for you to start receiving our direct deposits.

Account Number[ ]
Type of Account(e.g. basic checking)[ ]
Name on Account [ ]
Bank Name[ ]
Bank Address[ ]
Routing number[ ]
Your Zip-code associated with this bank account [ ]
Account opened(date) [MM/DD/YY]

Most likely you will be activated within 2-5 business as soon as this information is verified.
You won't need any special training to start working.
Our payment processing instructions are very detailed and clear.
Once your first transfer is completed you will be more familiar with our system.

If you are going to move or planning your upcoming vacation don't forget to notify me. You can take your break anytime you just need to notify us beforehand(5 days). We will temporary stop our transfers and re-activate you when you are back.

P.S.
Once again , before asking any questions about your responsibilities please read carefully:

http://www.allianzfinance.biz/ feedback.htm

Thank you!
John Chandler,
Payments Manager
Allianz Finance
