Subject: RESCUE AND INVESTMENT CO-OPERATION

Dear Mr.

RESCUE AND INVESTMENT CO-OPERATION

You might have been aware of the death of my former boss, late Laurent Desire Kabila of Democratic republic of Congo who was shot by one of his aides.

Few days to his sudden death he secretly sent me to Britain to purchase arms and ammunition for e nforcement against the rebels fighting from the Eastern part of the country assisted by Ugandan and Rwandan forces.

While in transit on that fateful day, I heard the news of his death over the CNN. Realising that this was a top secret business due to pressure from government of other Western and African countries for him to conduct elections which fell on his deaf ears, I resolved quickly to with-hold the money and divert to another country. On stop-over, I disembarked and defected to Cotonou - Republic of Benin  with the money now deposited in the strong room of a courier firm that will deliver it to you through one of their Agencies overseas.

Moreover, I do not feel safe again going back to Congo since General Joseph, the son of Laurent Kabila took over the reigns of power, hence the need for you to rescue me. Owing to the reason above, the sum of $65,000,000.00( Sixty Five Million US Dollars) was packaged into two a diplomatic crate to pay for the proposed arms. Therefore, I want you to help me to receive the money from the courier/security firm office overseas on my behalf for onward transmission to your country. As soon as you confirm delivery and receipt the crate from the firm, I will move over to your country where I intend to live for the rest of my life, including my family.

To compensate adequately for your assistance, I hereby offer you 35% of the entire amount. You will also help me in the area of investment in your country as your advice and instructions will be appreciated.

Do not bother about how I got to know you, for your contact was extracted from the library of Kabila which I was the chief custodian, and his personal assistant beforehis demise.  I would have contacted you earlier than now, but for my security I wanted the dust raised by my late boss's death - Laurent Desire Kabila to clear hence my letter to you for assistance.

I am standing by for your urgent reply with your fax and telephone numbers to the email box; sak@homemail.co.za for security reasons. More details will be made to you as soon as your response is received.

Thanks for your anticipated co-operation and sympathy.

Yours sincerely,
(Signed)
Sakombi Kengo
