Two elderly women in San Francisco, California have admitted they are among the victims of the St. James based international lottery and sweepstakes scam.

Grand jury indicts Plano man with mail fraud and making false statements in used car sales

 

 

According to a report out of California, the women lost a total of US$67,000.

The San Francisco police say the women received letters telling them they had won one million US dollars in lotteries in Jamaica and Canada
.

They were then instructed to pay for the taxes on the winnings with a money order
.

The women later mailed the cheques but did not receive the money they allegedly won.  ...
