Onitsha, Nigeria (AHN) - The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), a division of the Federal Ministry of Health, carried a closing operation sting on a Nigerian drug store, after confirming it sold fake and adulterated drugs to customers.

Grand jury indicts Plano man with mail fraud and making false statements in used car sales

 

 

NAFDAC's investigation and continuous monitoring revealed that the situation in the drug market, located in Onitsha, eastern Nigeria has worsened since June 2006.

Dioka Ejionueme, a pharmacist, who also participated in the closing operation said the closure became inevitable, to check the level of public health danger caused by the store.
